July 26, Strong Gains, the 30 Breaks 6,000
The Egyptian Stock Market posted strong gains in trading today with impressive rallies by all three indexes. The EGX 30 broke the 6,000 points barrier after a full month of being in the 5,000 range. The 30 indicator gained 171.5 points and closed at 6,119.4 points, a 2.9% decrease for the day. The EGX 70 indicator added 16.6 points and closed at 671.9 points, a 2.5% increase. The Dow Jones EGX Titans 20 indicator gained 32.7 points to its value and closed the trading session on Sunday at 1277.3 points, a 2.63% increase for the day.
