The Egyptian Stock market had a reasonably positive day. The primary indicator, the EGX 30 gained almost 27 points on Sunday where it closed 6220, a 0.43% increase. The EGX 70 gained 1.97% where it closed at 650, a 13 points increase. Finally, the Dow Jones EGX Titans 20 also gained 7 points to close at 1284 points, a 0.55% increase for the day.
In other news, Bloomberg reported that the Bank of Alexandria, one of the largest private sector banks in Egypt, might be in discussions with the government regarding the sale of the latter's stake of up to 20% of the bank's shares through an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
