The Egyptian Stock market had a negative day in trading on Sunday. The benchmark EGX 30 indicator lost 93 points and closed the session at 6070 points, a 1.5% decline. The EGX 70 barely moved where it gained 4 points and closed at 674 points. The Dow Jones EGX Titans 20 indicator lost 18 points and ended the trading session at 1251 points.
In other business news, The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided to reduce the overnight deposit and lending rates by 0.5% to settle at 9% and 10.5%, respectively. The discount rate has also declined by 0.5% to reach 9%. Source: The Egyptian Stock Exchange
