July Week 3 2009 Market Summary
The Egyptian Market had an overall strong week. The indexes started the week with a very poor performance, where the first two days the indexes lost about 3.5% average. In the remaining three days, all indexes rebounded strongly with very impressive gains in the third and fifth day, with moderate gains in the fourth. The EGX 30 gained 216 points for the week and closed at 5,683.7 points, a 4.25% increase. The EGX 70 added 20.7 points to its value for the week and closed at 639.7 points, a 3.8% increase. The Dow Jones EGX Titans 20 gained 46 points and closed the week at 1184.7 points, a 4.14% increase.
